CPS® and CAP® Recertification
The key to continued professionalism
CPS® and CAP® Holders are required to recertify every five years.
CPS® and CAP® holders are required to recertify every five years. Certificates are dated, showing the five-year period of their validation. Failure to comply with mandatory recertification requirements places the individual certification on inactive status and will require the individual to reapply and re-write the exams to regain active certification. Current CPS® holders who gain the CAP® rating will immediately be given the 90 points required to recertify their CPS® rating. There are three categories in which you can achieve points: 1) Education/Experience 2) Leadership 3) Elective. |
