Thrive Learning Facilitation makes sense of skills development and Seta accreditation processes for companies and training providers alike. We do this through a range of services and products offered nationally.

Nothing surprises us.... From large blue chip companies to small non-profit organisations we have made skills development and accreditation work in a situation just like yours.

Fully accredited training is offered to support these services and extends the scope of Learner competencies. A range of workshops are also offered to ensure the ongoing development of our clients and colleagues in the field. Our Assessor and SDF RPL process effectively and formally recognises assessors and SDF's who haven't had their skills formally recognised.

Through our range of external assessment and moderation services we can offer hands on guidance to effective and efficient assessment and moderation in your organisation.

Our extensive experience across a range of Seta's and organisations ensures that our service remains consistent and of a high quality, with the foundations of transparency and ethical business practice throughout our company. Our service promise is complete reliability and confidentiality, trustworthy expertise and capable facilitation. We have never made an application to Seta that was not accepted.

What is Seta Accreditation?

Did you know that we import welders into South Africa to do our shut-down welding for us??

Why is this?

Realistically, our training quality has not always been what it should have, leaving us with second rate skills. It is out of this need that the SAQA Act of 1995 was legislated. This means that in order for training providers to offer nationally recognised training they have to go through a quality check with their ETQA (Education Training Quality Assurance Body) – a stamp of approval to ensure the training quality is high. In this way providers now offer transferable, outcomes-based and relevant training and assessment. These assessment practices now ensure that you know whether you or your employees have learnt something during the time of the learning intervention.

Why would you apply to be accredited?

· Being an accredited Training Provider is an outward sign to potential and current Learners that your Training is of a very high standard and that your company has excellent quality management principles and processes in place. This will guarantee that Learners will have the best training possible, as fly-by-nights will be pushed out of the market.

· Being accredited means that companies who use your training programmes can put this training on their skills development grant applications and receive levy grants in return – this effectively makes your training more affordable.
